Hello,

 

I feel very fortunate to have had a full and varied business career that I have greatly enjoyed.

 

Throughout my career I have been approached by many company owners that have stated that although they recognise that they need help with their sales, they could not afford a top-performer's salary.

 

This is what first motivated me to create Horizon Business Development.  By engaging our services it becomes an affordable option to get the key skills and experience as well as an impressive range of contacts across many industry sectors that is required . I would like to help those companies that cannot afford a dedicated sales professional or need extra help in key areas.

 

My early years were spent honing my sales skills selling top-quality Contract Fabrics to architects, specifiers and contract furniture manufacturers.  We had a lot of fun and were very successful increasing sales to record levels and gaining the coveted Queens Award for Exports.

 

Manufacturing and Engineering has been a constant theme throughout.  Plastic injection moulding, forging, turning, advanced composite materials including carbon fibre and latterly radio communications have all featured in my career.

 

I have held posts from Sales Manager, Sales Director through to MD and most recently CEO.
